Newsagent's exterior and billboards in Margate in January 2003
"All the news that's fit to print" is the motto of the New York Times, but plenty of papers thrive nowadays by concentrating on news of a kind that used to be completely unfit to print. News billboards, especially those of local newspapers, have long been a source of humour, unintentional as well as intentional. All life's dramas, tragedies and farces can be found in newspapers and their advertising and Images Brighton has a decent selection of pictures to illustrate this.
