Old people don't behave like old people any more, and what a marvellous thing that is. The physical failings of old age are still there, of course, and death is as unavoidable as ever. But more people are now lucky enough to live stronger, fuller lives for far longer than ever before. The irony is that an obsession with youth means that too many employers ditch the over-50s and most companies aim their advertising at the young. They are making a big mistake, not least because older people form the fastest growing age group. Images Brighton provides many pictures of today's old people and their often surprisingly vigorous activities.
