Borde Hill Gardens in Sussex in March 2003
Britain has a fantastic heritage of parks and gardens. Public ones such as London's Royal Parks are the green heart and lungs of cities and towns. Gardens such as those owned by the National Trust include some of the finest collections of trees and plants in the world. Kew and Wakehurst are national treasures. Greenery aside, many of these places also have interesting and often eccentric sculptures and buildings.
