Buses and taxi in Oxford Street in London in February 2003
The roads are gridlocked, the airspace is overcrowded, the railways are hopeless and the tube is knackered. Wherever you want to go, particularly in England, there's likely to be a problem getting there on time. For a country that invented the train and the jet engine, this is a pretty sorry situation. The online library can provide pictures of many different types and means of transport, as well as images that illustrate important transport issues.
