This week's picture feature is about active older people. If you're lucky enough to live in Britain and not be poor, the chances are you'll enjoy many vigorous years from middle age onwards. The irony is that you will also find it harder to get a job in a labour market that becomes ever more obsessed with youth. But never mind about that when 70-year olds can rollerblade along Brighton seafront and nobody will bat an eye. Youth, as they say, may be wasted on the young, but nowadays they can go on wasting it for an awfully long time. Provided they can afford their pensions.
