Queen's Jubilee Parade in London on June 4th 2002
Today's set of six pictures were all taken at the huge Jubilee Parade in central London on June 4th. The popular success of this year's Jubilee has taken many commentators by surprise, given the changes in feeling and respect towards the royal family in recent years. Perhaps the real cause is as much the eternal English love of eccentric partying, especially in the open air, as it is anything to do with the Windsors.
