An allotment in Lewes in June 2002
The six pictures featured this week are about an allotment in Lewes. Though sandwiched between a railway line and a major road, the site is hidden and peaceful. The wet weather of this spring and early summer has been marvellous news for slugs and snails, but very frustrating for the allotment holders, including the hard-working and enthusiastic gentleman who has this one.
