Notting Hill Carnival in August 1984

This week's set of six pictures is from the the Notting Hill Carnival back in 1984. The Thatcher era was at its height (or depth) and mobile phones were the size of paving stones. It was a hot Bank Holiday weekend in London and the favoured drink was Red Stripe.
