Battersea Power Station in the 1980s

This week's picture choice is from the archives. It highlights Battersea Power Station in the 1980s, before this riverside blockbuster of a building was mothballed for development that has still, over a decade later, not even started. Yet more luxury flats are now being built next to the Power Station and it looks like this part of London has lost another opportunity to make something decent from the marvellous asset of the Thames.
