Shop displays in Brighton in April 2003

Private Eye calls Brighton "Skidrow-on-Sea" and there is certainly plenty of grot and sleaze to be seen there.  But the town - or city as it is now supposed to be called - is prosperous enough to support some of the liveliest shopping streets in England.  The North Laine district, in particular, is full of quirky and idiosynchratic shops.  Today's pictures of the week show ten images of shop windows and display details in Brighton in April 2003.
