Brighton street entertainment festival 2003

Every year since 1994, the Brighton Festival has included a weekend of street entertainment that brings hundreds of performers before an alfresco audience that now exceeds 100,000 people. The event, organised by Zap Art, is also a professional showcase for the street entertainers since theatrical producers and bookers come from across Europe to see the work they are doing. This series of pictures show some of the sights of the weekend.
