Bikers and motorbikes
Brighton is a good place to see the world of bikes and bikers. A fascinating rally of vintage motorbikes (and their often vintage owners) takes place every year in March. Then, at the end of the summer, there's a run down to the coast of up to 15,000 bikers celebrating the great days of the Ace Cafe, a famous rockers' hang-out on London's North Circular Road. Besides these events, Brighton attracts motorbike visitors every weekend, some of them, as can be seen below, making a very special journey. The pictures in this series were taken between 1998 and 2003.
